Default **Pics** from my B20 swap this weekend!

Finally got this damn engine in my car. It's been a long time coming. Some info if you care....Auto to manual swap, fully built block with golden eagle godzilla sleeves. Wiseco 85 mm low compression pistons. Eagle rods. Crower Valve springs and retainers. ACT extreme pressure plate. Xact prolite flywheel. ACT hybrid street disc. Future mods next summer include a turbo system (undecided which) add Hondata, fuel injectors etc... I haven't fired it up yet...this weekend I'll finish up the wiring and set her loose! I'll get some more pics up of my block build up as I documented (took pics) of everything I did. Hopefully You don't see red X's!!!!
bye bye d16z6

got er in

finished product

compression is around 9.0:1 or so. I haven't made any decisions on turbo parts yet....any recommendations??? I painted the engine bay because the original paint color for the c thanks for the car was that purpleish gray. I painted it pewter and the engine bay was still purple. So I painted it black... I like the contrast between the black and the polished stuff.

Thanks for the compliments !!

when you converted to manual, did you reweld the bracket for the tranny mount, or use a Place Racing auto to 5-spd bracket?

That's for the HCP mount, right?

http://www.fullthrottlenyc.com/ has the Place Racing one for $130.05. I think list price is like $150. Anyway, it sucks to have an auto chassis. That's money that could be better spent elsewhere.

Yes I believe it's HCP... I wasn't impressed at the finish of the mount...
The black "paint" was flaking off just with my fingernails???
I'd try the place ones if you have a choice...

I got shafted and paid 1200 for the long block only....you can get the long block for 700-900 bucks or so.

Stock compression is 8.8:1 for the B20b4. Mines at about 9.0:1 or so now.

Yes, you can look at it as the same as a B18B swap. everything is the same...except the plugs for the distributor since all b20's are OBD2. The color codes of the OBD 1 and the OBD2 distributors are the same just different plugs..
so just match up colors...
