I want to know about two of vehicles. Does Si hatchback comes with sunroof in only model? What about VX?

yes only si comes with sunroof. vx doesn't.

Yeah I know ex model come with sunroof. The reason why I ask this question is because I purchased a shell hatchback that displayed VX model but it come with sunroof! I had checked vin number and it shows that it has a Vx model...Is there any other way I can check if my hatchback is Si or VX?

All I can think of is someone put in an aftermarket sunroof, or cut the roof out of an Si hatch and welded it in.

Easiest way to tell the Si chassis from VX chassis is the VIN number:

Si = 2HGEH3... for the VIN (only Si has the EH3 designation)
VX = 2HGEH2... for the VIN (as does the CX and DX as well)

Aside from that I could go on listing the model differences between the two such as:

Si has rear discs - VX has drums
Si had FACTORY power sliding moonroof - VX did not
Si had power mirrors - VX did not
Si had two mirrors - VX did not from the assembly line (though dealers installed many)
Si had cruise control - VX did not
Si had rear washer/wiper - VX did not
Si had clock - VX did not

Need I go on?

I say someone had an aftermarket roof installed on that VX.

ditto....pics would help. cx and vx = no side moldings. dx and si, but si has sunroof. the information b18c5-eh2 just gave you should already be enough for you not to take out the headliner. and you could check out the interior patterns.

No need to even remove the headliner.

Just open the moonroof.

Is the rubber seal on the glass or on the roof? If it's on the roof, it's aftermarket.

Si had FACTORY power sliding moonroof - VX did not- yes it had sunroof but look extacly like stock!
Si had power mirrors - VX did not .... yes i had power mirror on both side

I think u guys right..someone could be weld stock sunroof on it.. i ll take picture tonight .
