Default **Goodbye HT, it was fun while it lasted**

Well I blew the motor in my Del Sol today :'( I was driving along when suddenly, bbbboommtttictickticktickbangbangbang (chucks of metal hitting oil pan)... Slung a rod and knocked a hole in my block the size of my fist. I think I hit something in the road earlier today, and I guess my oil pan started leaking, which starved my engine of oil. I'm pretty bummed, but I leave for BCT in a month so idc. Anyways I'm selling the shell to get whatever I can...so heres the thread, http://www.hondamarketplace.com/show...6#post42319956

and heres the massive hole in the block:

This doesn't mean you have to leave the site!

I am always nervous about the oil pan. Mine is pretty rusty and brittle

You should keep the shell, and just work on it when you can!

keep the shell, and swap something new into it. You can always pick up a new D series engine for 300-400 bucks.

Holy ****!
Dude that sucks, your Del Sol was so clean.
Why not just put another engine in it?

That is just your call to arms to replace the D15B7 in there.

Yeah, I bet you'll be back. Good luck in BCT, and glad to hear you sold your sol (pun intended). Hopefully you got a good price for it.
