Default ** what is the difference between 96-98 and 99-00 REAR Bumper cover **

It seems like part numers aren't the same, I am trying to (going to) install OEM rear lip and was wondering how's the fitting if the aren't the same...
I am talking about a 97 Coupe Vs 99 Coupe rear bumper cover

Thanks

the 99si bumper has a little lip in the back as well in the front. Well not a lip but it's not the same as the 97, should be ablt to fit pretty close.

dunno about that on the rear. i imagine that you may have problems, depending on which year lip is going on which bumper. i would think you MAY be able to pull off a 99+ on a 96-98, but no way on the other, b/c of the 2.5"~ indention all the way around the bottom of the f/r bumpers on that year (96-98). they would be too different IMO. let us know what works.

yeah, the main difference is a little bit of styling....the 96-98 bumpers are more "rounded" and the 99-00 bumbers are a little more defined along the edges, and look a little more "boxy" ....IMO I think that the 99-00 bumpers look better, but to each their own....good luck with the lip!
