Default ***new to the forum...just want to say hi***

Hello to everyone!

just want to say HI. i bought a 1994 civic ex coupe about 3 days ago. i'll upload pic later. i have a question...

"do ex models have certain types?"

because i bought a ex model for $2,000 in mn. not a bad price, the car was from arizona, so it has no rust or underbody rust. has a little ding, but nothing to major. what surprised me was that the car wasnt equipped with AC. weird huh? and the car doesnt have the 4 wheel disc brakes. the rear are still drums. i thought the ex model came equip with ALL of this. even my previous DX hatch had AC. its not a big deal, but i would like to know if there are base model ex compared to a fully equipped ex model.

my next question is...
"is anyone selling 99-00 si rims w/wheels for about $200 or less?"

Hope someone can help me understand ALL the models of the civic, would be nice to know. thank you!

Neither of those options were standard on an EX, and I'm relatively sure that for the 92-95 Civics, rear disc only came on Si hatchbacks.

No, A/C was a dealer option for every trim. Most older civics didn't come standard with air conditioning.

Not according to Honda and Edmunds. A lot of cars came with A/C, but that does not mean it was standard.

ABS isn't dealer, it's factory. Only the EX with ABS has 4-wheel disc, the standard EX did not.

Yep. Most cars in AZ came with A/C because the dealers know it'll sell better. Even CX's come with A/C in AZ if the dealership is smart. Unfortunately, the guy in AZ who sold you the car probably didn't buy his in AZ.
