Default ***Another are these CTR cams thread.....help!***

Got these free from a friend, he was told they were CTR's when they came in a built head. The head has been sold, and he is since out the honda game, which is why i got the cams.

So I need to know what type of cams these are?

thanks in advance.

You gotta take pictures of the cam ends with the notch at them but not at a linear angle with the cams, at an angle perpendicular to the linear angle of the cams, like this:

EDIT:
Like the last picture you took where they're in the box, but so they're both facing the same way, and so that you're a little more focused on the notched end.

EDIT #2:
Or like the second picture, but with both of them, one of them has the rings, and one of them doesn't, if neither do, then they're not CTR. Though I'm no expert on the comparisons or whatever, I just know the rings on the notched end mean CTR (3 rings, on one of the cams, not both).

Yeah, like I said, I'm no expert in cam differences, but from what I've seen in the thousands of other CTR cam threads (), there's three rings on the notched end of one of the cams (forgot whether it was intake or exhaust), but either way, you need to look at that end to tell the difference between GSR/B16 and CTR..and I think you might be able to tell ITR apart too.....but either way, that's the important angle, gogo for pix .

i would take it to a local (legit shop) and have them check it out. Visual isn't always the best idea.

Also if those really are ctr cam's i would def treat that buddy out to a nice dinner and 36pack of budweiser...

Even though the pictures suck, I'm pretty sure those are B16A(2) cams
