****major power mod for $0 !
well i wAS messing around under my hood today and i wired the map sensor directly to the Ecu-(directly to the map sensor) without it spliced into the harness which goes down and under the throttle body (on my b18c1)...so i took it up the block for a spin, and holy shittttttttttt it feels like i dropped a whole second off my 1/4 mile time!!!!!!!!! i felt a very very noticable change .
my question is....how and why did this make so much more power?????
ill post pics later to help anyone who cant picture what im saying.
****EDIT****
spoke to a friend who is a technician at honda, he said by doing this i probly changed the voltage currents ,which can trick the ecu into thinking something different , hence a power change.
i do not care if people dont believe me, im just saying what my experience was. im not a ricer or an idiot..i do all swaps myself and been in this game for a few years.
if people cant handle my story and what happend, click the little back button on your browser and view another post with your precious time. and if your time was so wasted by reading what i had to say, you probly wasted another minute responding with a dumbass newb comment.

dude its because thats not possible, you essientally did nothing that will increase performance except MAYBE reset the ECU
its all in your head.
