**** how to remove FRONT windshield GLASS?
Well how do I take off the front windsheild?
Basically I found a shell at the junkyard and they say I can have it cheap I can take it out myself for $25.... I looks fairly mint/new.
how long does it take?
do i need a special too to take it off...
I need to know how to take it off, I will have a Professional glass shop install it though.

So you want to take the glass out neatly or busted?
Either way for neatly, you have to be very careful. Get a exacto knife or some really strong type of knife. Go on the outside of the winsheld and slide the knife between the black glue and the windshield. You will feel a little drop from the windshield, so from there you slowly go around the edge of the glass and take that all off. Then go inside the car and slowly push the window up from one side to another, then down the bottom. Have a friend hold it up so you dont swing it over and break it (if its your first time. Other then that just be really careful.

would it help to bring MAP gass so that I can heat up the edge of the glass/GLUE a little?
how long do you think it should take? 2-3 hours?

Damn, I might have to go check the junkyards for this as well. My windshield is all chipped up and pitted.

Not exactly sure what MAP gass is, but if you have like a heat gun or something it would make the job go alot quicker (i would think, never used one though).
You should have it out within a hour.
