Default Is $600 a good price for usdm civic SI tranny?

Found a 99 civic SI tranny for 600 and it is said to be in good condition. Does this sound like a good price and does this tranny come with lsd? Also has 90 day warenty(sp).

NO!!! You are going to pay way too much for a tranny that you don't know is good.

I just rebuilt my Civic EX tranny for $1152

No, it doesn't come with an LSD.

If it has a 90 day warranty then I don't see what the problem is. Go for it.

how are you saying $600 is too much for a Si tranny?

They typically go for $650+

Get it, esp. since you get a warranty

Fine, run the thing as hard as you ever will for the first 90 days.

600 is still high to me.......used trannies on partstrader are 200.
