Re: $5500 for 93 Si (GSREGHATCH)
$5500 , I think thats way to high . Even if the body is nice.......Is it the original paint job???? d16z6 or b18???? If your running the d-series , I think $4000 at the most...........sorry if it sounds low...

I found a 93 si for $2950 in my area but by the time i called he had already sold it. It had 125K on it and the person selling it sounded old. I bet he kept it clean.

$5500 is way too much for a 93 SI w/ stock motor!!....
I dont know where you guys lived...but where we live mods does increase the sale value!!
I guess if its the car the buyer always wanted, then any price will do for the buyer...but me 5.5k is way too much. ..I got my 92 SI captiva blue for $2400 only.

if you're selling a modified car you usually take the blue book price of the car and add 1/2 of the money you put into modifications. but with just intake, exhaust, a fuel rail and some sway bars i wouldnt pay more than blue book, and i doubt the spoon wheels are real.

probably just rota's...anyone in their right of mind will keep real spoons if they're selling their car.
but 5500 is way too much, especaily for those cheap ol mods, maybe 3000 at most

Re: (Mar_EK)
typical asking price for a SWAPPED(to a better motor) car is high bluebook in mint condition. 5500 for this car? not for me...I only payed a little more for a jdm h22 si hatch, 93 model with 94k miles and many more mods. Unless you find someone who just HAS to have it i don't think you'll find the money you want..sorry , just bein real....peace....................john

exactly; i think the only place that mods don't add value is h-t. my bro in law sold a 92 si with a b18b, 17's, new paint, i/h/e, coils, 100+k miles, no ac or ps, for $7k.

if the body is in good condition, i'd say that price is a good deal. just add up the price of the mods; that'll be at least $2.5k. then add the price of a stock si, probably around 4-5k for one in good condition with decent miles.

I have 175K on my D16Z6 - blows consitent compression numbers, super clean paint and interior - I/H/E plus Cd head unit - I would not accept anything below $5000.00 -

Re: $5500 for 93 Si (93CivicSI)
I sold my '97 hatch (101,000 miles)for 3500.00 you are on crack if your going to pay 5,000 grand for that. I wouldn't pay more than $3500-$4000 my guess is they are rotas on there NOT real spoon rims...if he says the ARE spoon rims there should be a desmond (or made in russia)sticker or stamp on the inside of the rims

uhh a stock 93 si is prolly only gonna go for 2.5k-3.2k. and you dont add all the money put into mods. u add half if that. 5.5k is way too much for that. i would only pay at most 3.5k.
and one question to the thread starter. you listed full si interior as one of the mods? if it is an si that would all be there to begin with.

Re: $5500 for 93 Si (trooper0641)
Don't know bout you guys, but i'd rather pick up a stock hatch to begin with. I don't really trust other peoples jobs, pre-swapped cars in general. Just my .02 (Unless they had a VERY good rep, and people could vouch for them.)
Damn, if your 93 Si with minor mods could sell for 4-5k, then i could only sell mine for bout 3 huh...sounds bout right.
Good luck on the sale
