A guy I know needs money and is selling a 95 dx 2dr 5spd, for $400. The car had overheated and been sitting for about a month. The car is complete and in relatively good shape, the usual dings on the doors and faded paint. Is $400 a good price? If I decide its too much of a project could I get my money back easily or am I a sucker.

Sorry I am new to these cars, and I just want some advice as to not having a fast one pulled on me.

Is the engine blown? Otherwise it's a good deal, depending on what the prices are for other same-type cars around you. Around here that'd be an amazing deal.

If the body is pretty clean and straight, no rust, interior not beat to crap then it's a good deal. Chances are if it's been overheated though you'll want to drop an engine in it.
