Re: $20,000 On a hatch ? (Blahblah)
honestly if I had 20k in my hands I would not look towards a honda.. I would indulge myself with a car that would hold better value and that you won't grow to tired of...I do have a civic.. but in a year or so I do plan to get a 2nd car that is more well Mature to a sense.. come on you can't take your lady friend out to a nice restaurant in a freaking Hatchback.. well maybe it's just me

you question is very vague and open ended, you would get more useful info if you clarified more. I would say to perhaps spend a little more than 5k on the car. A 5000 dollar ek would probally not be in the best of shape, you would probally be better of spending more and getting a better stater car.

so then... everyone who said to get a different car... what do you suggest in the 20k range? i say get a 3rd gen RX7 but make sure you have enough money to fix the engine when it blows.

20k cant get you shyt. i personally would not invest 20g into a used car. think about it, if it's a hard earned 20k then i dont justify spending it on used shyt. if it's an easy 20k then surely i can put in another 10k and get something nice.
i'd probably save the money, or at least save part of it. sure you can build a quick little hybrid ek hatch but i wouldnt go all out with one you know?

I would love to have $20k for a Civic. I'd go for a Civic cause of insurance.
And drop a B18C1, build it, run Drag 3 turbo, stand alone system, and ZEX purple haze. Roll cage, Sparco interior, TEIN suspension, Brembo brakes, Veil Side styling, light weigh 16's w/ 205/40-16 tires, and a decsent cd player.
Something to run 9's and 10's all day.
