$1200 to spend..what to get?
I just returned my '00 Si back to stock (mostly, engine/susp. at least) in the in interests of starting over. What would you get if you had $1200 to spend on youre car? Trying to stay within the realm of performance mods, i.e. no cf hoods or wheels, etc....just anything to mke it faster.
And please no "sell it and build a hybrid" please. thanks

It depends where you're taking the car...all motor, supercharging, turbocharging...that would help us give you better ideas. HTH

$1,200?
Buy a computer and learn to program- database programming/administration is a good field that will last, web AND database programming is even better. Six months later get good tech job, sell Si and buy S2000.
Otherwise, Springs, shocks, swaybar, intake, header, exhaust... In that order.
Good luck.

heh. interesting reply.
well, got a computer already (i am on this site, ya know ), in college to hopefully make something of myself and be able to afford an S2000,or M3, whatever....
not in the cards for me right now though.
As far as the suspension setup is concerned, i am putting in a ITR rear sway next week and ive got a nie set of Falken Azenis, so for now im good -- loving that stock ride quality hehe.
My plans are to go all motor,if that helps...cant get much in the way of F/I for 1200, besides NOS, although 1200 would go a ways towards a turbo and manifold.
I was thinking for now--
JDM ITR 4-1
Testpipe
VAFC
Custom intake (cold air pipe w/ stock airbox for that sleeper look)
Toda cam gears
Tune, tune, tune and save up some more for some cams and valvetrain, maybe a block.
I figure w/ this setup i can have some parts which will support N/A when i go further later on, yet let me have some fun in the meantime.
Lemme know what u guys think and if you have any other suggestions
