"Starting problems 92 Civic Sedan"
I Have a 92 honda Civic with only 94k miles for some reason it will not start sometimes...but it will start...it does try to turn over....i do sometimes wait awhile then it starts...What could be the problem????.....i just had the brakes done and tuned up and also the dist. cap changed also the Battery is brand new... Pls someone help....

How do i know if the relay is bad or not the one i pulled out of my car looks good?

Look at the inside of the relay, look good at the solder. Usually it's a small crack in the solder that causes the relay to crap out.

mail realy is a possibility but so is the starter solenoid. next time you have this problem go whack the starter with a hammer lightly then try again. if it starts immediatley, its probably the solenoid
also, when it dosent start, do you hear a click? if you HEAR a click your relay is working. if you DONT your relay is probably bad.
