Default "New" Del Sol...already a problem... "Project Wanna-B"

Well about a week ago I traded my 91 Civic Si for my cousins 95 Del Sol TypeS. About three days later I was pulling into a parking spot at work and the car quit. Checked for spark, notta. So replaced everything in the dizzy, new plugs, and new wires. Still nothing. Then I realized the rotor button wasn't turning..so yeah snapped T-belt.

Well I said screw it, I'll start building a B swap. I found a 96 Integra LS motor. B18B. Has roughly 140k and they want $750 for it in running condiditon (still installed and running). Is this a resonable price? I don't know much about B series.

No, it has a auto tranny anyways. This will be a turbo build also. So it will be rebuilt.

That a pretty good price. Swaps generally go for 500 dollars in labor.

The integra in the junkyard has a auto tranny. My Del Sol is a 5 speed. So just motor is going to be $750 with 140k miles on it.

You'll still need a B-series transmission to mate up to your B18B. The current D-series tranny will not bolt up.

This I know. I will also need B series mounts and axles. I'm just asking if this is a good deal for the motor alone.

not if you add the price of wire harness, computer, axles and other misc crap, you can buy a setup with everything for little less.
