Default "DIY" Custom Door Panels

Well Me and my wife decided to start redoing my interior so we got some red fabric and started ripping into it .. here are some pictures

This is a before picture-

All ripped apart-

Drivers door done-

Both done-

Now some Tech-

First we started by poping the plastic rivets on the back of the panels, after removing the panels strip of the old fabric if no fabric prep the plastic with plastic prep to remove all grease and dirt so you dont get bumps in the finished, cut the fabric so you have a bout 2" over what you need, spray it with 3m or some kind of spray glue, apply the fabric to the piece of door .

To put it back together you will need some 1/4" screws and washer

And thats realy all.. Make sure your hands are very clean when using red ..

Fabric - Joann Fabric - 2 yards - $10
Spray Glue - Joann Fabric - $6
Screws/Washers - Wal-Mart - $4

wow.. nicely done. i think im gonna try this on my hb.

has anyone done there cpe or hatch panels yet?

are 92-95 EX cpe door panels the same dimension as the manuels (just the part w/ the cloth insert)?

* i wanted to know cuz i bought some EX panels for my hatch. and the vinyl part is pretty torn up except for the cloth inserts where the swtiches and trays are. so i was thinkin of just swappin that inner portion of the panel w/ the switches over to my manuel panels in my hatch. would that work? any help would be appreciated!!*
