"Clicking" sound when tryin to start HB?
hey guys, just recently everytime i try to start up the car it makes a click. so i just turn it to the 2nd slot and turn it again and it fires. any ideas of whats the problem? its a 93 civic si thanks

I'm having the same problem in my '93 hatch DX. Anyone else had this problem? It's happened to me 3 times. It just clicks like the batter is too weak to start the car and then after a couple of tries it starts right up. It doesn't do it all the time...
Edit: Just wanted to add that it starts and runs normally 99% of the time.

I was thinking that maybe it's the starter, but most of the time it works fine.
What are the symptoms of a bad "dizzy"? What exactly is the dizzy again, the thing that spins around and hits the connections for the wires?

Dizzy = Distributor = Basically what you described
I have a starter that does the same thing when it's really "dewy" out the night before and I let it set in the driveway overnight. You really have to play with it to get it to fire. Same problem, just need a new starter.

im having almost the same problem in my 93 si also. Except mine cranks and cranks and could all day it just doesn't want to fire up and start

Sounds like the starter is the consensous. Where's the best place to buy one. You guys recommend Honda over Autozone? Any idea what the price difference would be?
