Nope. Either OEM filters from the dealership or go get a Napa Gold oil filter (they're re-branded Wix filters) for your make/model

Yes. It will increase your throttle response and you will not have to buy another filter, just clean it when it gets dirty.
There are a plethura of Civic turbo/non-turbo owners that add aftermarket intakes. The drop-in filter is the lowest cost to increase your throttle response. Besides, the aftermarket intakes are not doing anything by themselves but add a swooshing noise.
The stock turbo is small (that you know) - thus the stock air box is plenty sufficient to supply ample air to the turbo and even a bit more efficiently with a higher flow filter.

Until someone drops in another motor that has "dual" exhaust ports and larger turbo, then you will want a 360 cone style intake - but until then the stock box is plenty even with the current out of the box tunes provided by Hondata OR K-Tuner.

Co-Sign. Have one myself on the SI. Definitely felt it in the midrange, a bit more

Yeppers...the drop-in works very well. The stock box is not the bottleneck anyway, but increasing the velocity by +/-33% is just enough to provide a smoother transition w/o the temporary charge build-up.
Would have opted for an Si model if they contained all of the electronics that the Sport Touring is fitted with. Between the two, the Sport Touring just handled better and was fully loaded w/leather.

To me, Elecronic suspension dampening, larger turbine wheel and a Mechanical LSD with no leather was all the option I wanted. I just wish It came in a Hatch chassis. I converted my headlights to HID and brought then never
