Hi, new to this forum. I have a 1.5 T CVT with 55000km on it. Since new I could notice loud whining noise on CVT when driving hard or temps are very warm. I can reproduce the sound if a drive hard in manual mode. Under normal conditions I don't hear it as loud. Oil was changed at 40000 km. Car works perfectly otherwise.

Is this just a characteristic of the CVT? I asked dealer but they say all is normal and cannot even hear the noise.
