I have a 2017 honda civic, I changed the wire harness but the car wont turn over. When I bridge and bypass I get it to start but no acceleration from the pedal. The car is a push to start but it wont start with just brake and push.

Why are you working on this car yourself ??? Isn't it under warranty ???

i bought it from the auction, when i called they said its no longer under warranty.

Bad ecu? Bad throttle body actuator/pedal communication? Ecu would be an easy place to start, I think only dealership technicians have the available computer software to input line by line of good code.

so my key is good and I bought a new battery as well. I am hearing that because I had the ecu unplugged and the battery the car can be in anti theft mode. How would I go about getting it out of that mode. the brake light is flashing and the red light in the left corner keeps flashing as well
