Windshield wipers stopped working

Windshield wipers stopped working
2007 civic and wipers iced this morning after snow. In a hurry so cleared windshield to drive and after warm up levered up for one swipe and still frozen to windshield. Did this couple times. When I did break them loose, would not work. Checked fuse and good. Any ideas? Thanks.

May have burnt the motor out. Take the cowl off, disconnect the wiper motor connector and test for voltage on the harness side of the connector with the wiper switch on. The cowl is the plastic piece kinda under the hood and between it and the windshield. If you're getting voltage at the connector then you burned the motor up. If you aren't getting voltage then check the fuse. If the fuse is good check the wiper relay.

Re: Windshield wipers stopped working
There is a bulletin for the wiper motor not parking and having issues related to the wiper motor. There could be an issue with the wiper motor cover causing it to stop. But like lazlong check for power and ground and make sure you didn't burn out any of wiring etc. If everything wiring related checks out it will most likely be the motor itself.
