2006 Civic Si Coupe. Exedy clutch and Exedy lightweight flywheel. 4th gear scratches when I place it into gear now because I tried speed shifting with no clutch.... I know. Big mistake. Either way I assume that's the synchro? Which kit should I buy. I only want what I need. It's just kinda expensive. Just for the Kit. I'm pulling the trans out myself and dropping it off... If you aren't going to do the work yourself, talk to the person who is. As long as there are no surprises when you get it open, you really only need dirt cheap synchro and a bunch of money to spend on labor.

I'm doing the work of pulling the transmission and bringing the parts. I talked to a shop and this guy told me I'll be saving a lot of money bringing my own parts and doing all the labor. They would just be putting in the synchros, bearings, seals, and the 1st-6th springs. I'm just trying to see what other people would think about going $450 for the kit. Or $700 for the kit. Just wanna make sure this is going to eliminate the scratch. It just scratches with some tension when you go into fourth. Is this for sure going to be the synchro? Based on what I have to go by? I'm just trying to make sure. That's why I'm being so cautious.
