Synchro decisions. 4th gear grinding.
2006 Civic Si Coupe. Exedy clutch and Exedy lightweight flywheel. 4th gear scratches when I place it into gear now because I tried speed shifting with no clutch.... I know. Big mistake. Either way I assume that's the synchro? Which kit should I buy. I only want what I need. It's just kinda expensive. Just for the Kit. I'm pulling the trans out myself and dropping it off... How would the $700 kit benefit me more than the $450? K20 EP3 Carbon Synchro rebuild kit K20 EP3 Bearing Seal KIt

If you aren't going to do the work yourself, talk to the person who is. As long as there are no surprises when you get it open, you really only need dirt cheap synchro and a bunch of money to spend on labor.
Synchrotech is great, I have a built CTR trans from them and it's flawless.
