Default 09 Si Idle Pulley

hey guys, Im new to the site and hoping someone could help me out. I have an 09 Si with a potential issue with my idel pulley. I have attached a short video. The noise is my concern. Iv heard everything from its just the PCV hose, or its a bad bearing in the pulley, or its the water pump, or it just normal. Any help would be great. Thanks!

My pulleys were rather loud also...

Can you get a video a little farther away?

that sounds like the bearing is messed up and the ball bearings are just spinning around inside freely.

that is my thought as well. if you put your ear up to it, it sounds like it coming directly from the pulley itself...and as far as i can remember its been like this since day one. i would just like to get some thoughts before i have my dealer replace anything.

Im not planning on touching it before hand.

well if its any concern, you should just take it in asap. because lagging on it, or seeing what we think, may be too long and there goes your belt, or worse, your motor.

yeah, im planning on dropping it off first thing monday morning.

no damage could have been caused by driving around with it like this, right? that would only happen it the pulley completely failed...?

you never know. the bearing might seize, stopping the rotation of the pulley and burning the belt till the point where it breaks and there goes your motor.
