Weird Noise ! Civic Si 2008 Sedan. Help!
Everytime I go through a speedbump or I accelerate or deccelerate, like I did on the video(link below), I get this weird noise.
I took the car to a Honda experts shop and they retorque all the suspension. And they said the noise comes from the steering rack and that i need to replace it to fix the problem. I want to be sure that this is the problem because is expensive to replace the steering rack.
I already changed 4 shocks, front shock bases, lower arm bushings.
Please help. Sorry for my bad english

search the web. there was an issue of the steering rack making noises and loosening the bolts, then re-torquing in the proper sequence fixed most noise issues.

Re: Weird Noise ! Civic Si 2008 Sedan. Help!
Weird noise is related to upper strut bearings. Bearing and strut mounts needs replacement as and when required. Part of the problem is that the struts are loose at the top because the whole assemble gets loose over time. If you have already gone through suspension, it will be better to visit them again and apprise them of the vehicle's situation.
