08 si weird noise ... :/
i have an 08 si with only 9000 miles had it for 8 months now and a few months ago it started making a weird noise when i turn my steering wheel like a snap noise :/ but this only happens after the car sits for a while like overnight or if i park it 4 a while ...... i dont know what to do because it drives normal and feels normal even at high speed but lately the noise is getting worst so i called honda and they told me to take the car in but if something is wrong with the car they gonna charge me unless its a manafacture problem ..... what should i do ????
also i`ve been runing my car on regular honda oil and my oil change is coming up and iam planing on doing it myself .... if i want to switch 2 syntetic oil do i have to do something different r just do it as a regular oil change ... want to use mobil 1 what u guys think ?..and also do i have to buy a new drain bolt ???
thanks !!!!

Have not heard anything about a steering wheel noise. Don't you have a warranty on the car?? 08 with 9K should still have the factory warranty.
As for the oil change. Make sure you change your filter too. Removing the filter sucks because it is above the exhaust and you will likely leak oil on the header and header shield when removing it. Make sure you clean it up as best you can. The only thing you might want to consider is a new crush washer for the drain plug. You can usually use the old one, but it never hurts to change it.

OEM Honda Filter is great.
As far as oil its preference. I always use Royal Purple. Just me...
the filter isnt that HARD to change out. Im a big dude and i can get it just fine. Gotta find the right angle is all. oh and its always best to install a new crush washer with the plug. Honda sells them with the filters. They should ask you if you want a new one when you purcahse the filter.
