The 2016 Si is not even out and he purchased the car last year...
Also by the time parts will be available for the 16 Si it will be at least a 8-12 months too.

Re: Theia 2015 Si track/dd build
Have not updated in a while. But I was able to attend my first track day in the wet last December at Buttonwillow Raceway. It was a really good learning experience. I found that my Hankook V12s actually had really good wet-traction and there is a lot more grip in the water than you would think. unless you go into the really deep puddles its pretty fun.
The first one of the day was dry and then it was full on down poor after that. I was able to beat my previous personal best time by one second on the first session of the day by 1 sec so i am confident that there was much more time to be gained if i had the whole day with dry sessions. The new brakes worked very good as well as the Schroth Harness keeping me nice and snug in my seat. I was not sliding around in my seat anymore.
can't wait to get out there again with these better brakes and see what I can really do.
I also plan to put on SPC camber bolts and Rear control arms with a good alignment before the next event.
Once I buy the pics from the event I will upload the rainy day action shots.

Other plans to add to the build probably over the next year or so:
Cobra Seabring seat
Autopower cage
Coil-overs - not sure what brand yet , hoping I can find a good damper set up.
next set of tires will probably be RS3s

I would probably wait off the cage... it's not a huge necessity and you aren't making the power either to worry so much for it.
I would upgrade the rear sway bar also with the coils when you decide what you get!

Yeah it's not number 1 on the list. Probably going to be a while. But when I do it will be with the seat and everything at once. Because all the events require it in Oder to run an aftermarket seat with harness.

Re: Theia 2015 Si track/dd build
Went to see Darren at West End alignment today. Anyone who tracks their car in so-cal knows he is the man to see if you want your car set up right. I told him I had just installed the SPC front camber bolts and rear camber arms. I originally had the camber bolts on the top part of the strut but after checking the range and finding we could only get -.8 out of it we decided to put the bolts on the bottom. Which gave much better range.
I ended up with -1.75 in the front and -1.9 in the rear. With 0 toe. He gave me a little more camber in the rear as a safety net because I have not driven this car on the track yet with a performance alignment. He explained the car will be much easier to rotate now so this will let me get used to it before going with a more aggressive set-up as my times get better.
After getting it done I took it around the block and I can already feel the car had better turn in than stock. It just goes where I point. On the drive home I got to go through some good fast speed interchanges and tight transitions like ones with speed limits of like 25mph or so. Car drives way better now. Can't wait to take it out to Streets of Willow , next month and really have a go.

Re: Theia 2015 Si track/dd build
Been a WHILE since I updated this thread. Not much has changed on the car since last time. Life happens and projects get put on hold. But we are moving forward on with project !
I will I’ll be running with Speed Ventures on 12-16-17 to test out the better alignment since I never went to the track after getting those parts done. Looking to set a new PB if the track stays dry.
Mods that will will be coming soon will be upgrading lines to braided lines now that the car is in the 60k mile range and I’m doing a fluid flush before the track anyways.
Picked up a new wheel from Max Papis Industires ( former Indy and NASCAR pro ) it’s wont go in the car until cage , seat and harness are done but it was on sale so I scooped it up at Winding Road Racing in HB.
Along with the lines I will be ordering a new set of Porterfield R4 race pads to be custom made again. Love these brakes and have not found anything even close for 2014 stock calipers.
Hoping to purchase my seat Cobra Seabring GT and Autopower race roll bar and have all that installed before the brining of next years HFF series with Speed Ventures.
then hopefully onto my MCS suspension from RedShift as well as the AIM MXS strada street icon dash so I can have all my important data displayed without having to run a bunch of wires and gauges.
looking forward to posting more pics and updates soon.

Re: Theia 2015 Si track/dd build
I don’t have CAD or a Vector Program so I decided to render my car and my Idea for aero in a scale drawing. Started with a 1:25 scale vector I found and added the aero pieces to scale. Based on rules for GTA enthusiast class for my car.
I will be posting updates on my Instagram as well as other stuff from racing and Time Attack @kimsey099

Looks great!! No brake cooling ducts set into the blocker plates in the front aero? or are the ducts invested in the lower cooling duct at the centre line of the cars front aero?

This was mainly a concept to help get my idea on paper. I might also change to the Asian bumper as it has bigger center opening and use the Mugen Grill. To have the best flow with a ducted radiator.

Re: Theia 2015 Si track/dd build
Buttonwillow 13cw with Speed Ventures Purple group.
First session of the day came out strong and set a new PB of 2:18.7 which was already 4 seconds faster than the last time I ran which was December 2015. It was like 40 degrees outside and windy so did not get much grip and tires took a bit to warm up. Rears never got warm. First session was a red flag after 3 laps , then we got about 3 more laps after restart.
Second session was a mulligan for me because I ran out of gas .
Thrid session went well and was able to improve upon my first session time by a second for a 2:17.
Forth session of the day was my best I turned off traction control totally forgot about that before and was able to get a good clean session. I was able to get a flyer of 2:16.3 on my 3rd Lap . The other laps were all in the 2:17s though I was happy I was able to be conisitant .
All in all I’m very happy with my times.
Finished the day strong with a 2:16.371 with all laps no more than 2:17.8 that session. I’m very happy with my results. After being away from the track since dec 2015 I have made a HUGE improvement. Previous PB was 2:22. Thanks to John Lindeman @cornerspeedtuning and Nicole Cervantes for the coaching and helping with the setup. Can’t wait to see where I can go this coming track season of 2018 and hopefully GTA Superlap battle.
Mods : SPC Camber arms , Porterfield R4 pads , 245/40/17 Hankook v-12s, Swift Spec R Springs , team dynamics pro race 1.2 17x8 +38

Re: Theia 2015 Si track/dd build
Long time no see but here is an update. pads on order from Porterfield and I just got some new tires. Got a great deal on some Kumho V720s , still running 245 square. The tires def have more grip than the v12s if all goes well end of September I will be back at Buttonwillow trying to se a new PB.
