I love my tien S-techs. They actually feel like the factory springs in my opinion. This is her....

Yes the struts are my stock lx struts. And those are 17" HFP's. I love my set-up and I think I will go with stock struts again. I just think the eibachs make the back end too low. It makes it look squaty to me. And tiens are japan made if I'm not mistaken. Eibachs are german made I think. Anyways as long as the car is dropped I think you will be fine

and i like my sportlines, been on them for about a year and a half with stock struts and shocks... but the biggest upgrade anyone can do to change a cars characteristics is tires... don't go cheap and you won't be disappointed

Re: tein s tech vs. eibach sportline
I'm in the same market for springs, I was checking out the H&R's and I heard swift just came out with new springs? If you have a spring compressor and lift any install over 2 hours is a damn scam. I did it myself in under an hour and half without a lift then again it's probably my 15th time doing springs :p.
The skunk2 camber kit is only for the rear i'm guessing? Just camber and not caster correct?
Anyone know the spring rates on the S tech compared to the Sportlines/vice versa?

front : 235 lbs/in
rear : 274 lbs/in
sportlines
front : 125-222 lbs/in
rear : 131-262 lbs/in
the reason the sportlines vary is because they are progressive springs, which means that at full length, it takes 125 lbs to move to compress the spring 1 inch. but if you want to compress it more, it takes more than 125 lbs to go that extra inch. which basically means that the more compressed the spring is, the stiffer the ride.

Re: tein s tech vs. eibach sportline
which would you guys prefer??
cuz im looking to lower my car and get some rims.
but my car is mostly just street driven with the occasional driving through the canyon roads maybe a couple times a month. but im looking for comfort and performance.
and some pics of what each drop would be nice also.
and what do you guys think of skunk2 camber kits??
cuz im thinking of getting those also.

yea i went with sportlines. i love them so far. the ride is very comfortable, it feels the same as stock, but it corners a lot better which is always a good thing.

Nice, i guess i know what to get now. I was kinda leaning towards these aswell i just hadn't really made up my mind. If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for the springs?

Re: tein s tech vs. eibach sportline
i think anyone can get them around the 225 range, but i can get them cheaper than that. but i preferred the sportlines over the s tech because i rode in my friends si with them and they were kinda bouncy.
