Sunroof not closing automatically
Does any body know if there is a reset function for the sunroof without having to take it to the dealer. This is the second time that this has happened. Its under warranty now but after the warenty ends this could get a little expensive.
Please if any one has any advice please post,
Thanks,
Mike

i dont believe so...take it back to the dealer and either watch or ask them how they fixed it...sounds like a switch is bad or something

We're assuming by automatically, you mean the one-touch close function. If you are SURE you're pushing it far enough forward for it to click that second click to 'auto close' and it wont, then yeah definate warranty claim there.
Anything other than that, i duno.

Re: (Demonis)
To reset the moonroof control unit, do these steps:
1. Turn the ignition swich OFF.
2. Press and hold the tilt switch, and turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Release the tilt switch, and turn the ignition switch OFF.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 four times.
5. Press and hold the moonroof open switch for 3 additional seconds after the moonroof is fully opened.
6. Press and hold the moonroof close switch for 3 additional seconds after the moonroof is fully closed (tilted).
7. Confirm that the moonroof control unit is reset by using the moonroof AUTO OPEN and AUTO CLOSE feature.

Re: (toyomike)
I really not recommended to do by yourself(reset), I who works in Honda dealership know there is something wrong with the adjustment of the sunroof grip.May be it slightly bend or need to be re-position.If still under warranty, just bring it back.
