SI clutch same as RSX Type-S?
I've been trying to find an SI in my area to test drive but the only way I can get anyone to hold one long enough to let me test drive it is to put a down payment on one. I'm not going to put money down on a car I don't even know I'll like. I've test driven a couple RSX Type-S's and I was wondering how similar the two cars are? Most importantly, is the clutch the same in the SI as it is in the Type-S? I love how light the RSX's clutch is even if it is a bit numb feeling.

i think they are pretty similar. u know u can put down a deposit on the car, and if u dont like it they will give u a refund right? u can put down $500 and get back $500 if u refuse the sale of the vehicle. put down some cash and drive one. i dont think you'll want the $500 back, i think you'll be giving them alot more money so u can take the car home with u

Re: SI clutch same as RSX Type-S? (The Maniac)
both the RSX Type S and 06 Si use the same clutch and pressure plate
22200-RBC-003 - clutch
22300-PBC-003 - pressure plate
the only different is that acura will charge you 102.06 for the clutch, and honda charges 92.29
for the pressure plate acura charges 124.11, and honda charges 112.24
