Shaky tire on 2012 Honda Civic plz help
 

I purchased my car second hand off a friend that fixes and flips cars. The car is salvage title. Anyways the car started making a weird growling noise from where i and passengers could point out would be the front driver side. I continued driving it like that for a while until it started getting louder and eventually it started shaking on that side. the shakiness gets worse as speed increase but on a right curve the noise becomes completely silent. I had a couple of friends that know about cars listen to it and they suggested it may have been the wheel bearing. I changed it with my dad with a tool from Auto Zone that is specific for wheel bearing removal and installation and the noise went away for maybe two or three days. The noise and shakiness has come back maybe worse this time and i don't know what to do. What could effect this and had it working for a bit and suddenly go back again? Any advice helps thanks in advance.

Wait, so you changed a wheel bearing without rotating the tires to see if the noise followed the tire? What brand wheel bearing did you use? How did your "friends that know about cars" diagnose it?

To be honest, you shouldn't buy salvaged cars from flippers if you don't know how to fix them.

Chances are your friends were correct about the wheel bearing since the weight shift caused the noise to go away. From my experience, wheel bearing caused more of a droning helicopter sound.

But anyways. After rotating the tires, if the vibration is still there, check for suspension components that might have loose bolts or nuts. If it were me, I'd check them all first.
