Reprogramming Shift Points in '12 Civic?
I have a 2012 Civic EX Auto which, to be kind, is a little wimpy around town. Once on the freeway, it has enough power to get right along. As best as I can tell, the problem is that the shifting is programmed to get you into overdrive as soon as possible, like at 35 mph.
Is there anyone out there that knows about getting the shift points reprogrammed a little higher? Hopefully it won't take using another chip, but I may go there if it's the only way. bk

Nothing can be really done with that to be honest. You will most likely need to get chipped but again doesn't mean you will be able to change how it shifts...
Honestly you should of got a manual car but I'm sure you might of wanted auto for a reason.
