Default Replacing windshield trim

I just recently bought a lightly used 2015 Civic EX-L that needs some minor cosmetic fixes. One of the things I need to replace is the trim/molding around the windshield. I got some new trim pieces but have a question before going ahead with the replacement. I did a few searches and found people talking about clips, but I see no clips where the trim goes so I am assuming that an adhesive of some sort is used. I got the parts today and noticed that they have a slim adhesive strip on the underside. It's not very tacky so I don't think it will be enough to completely secure the pieces to the car. Should I go buy an adhecive or is the adhecive strip enough to do the job? Or should I just suck it up and have a shop do it for me?

For reference they are parts:
73125-TR3-A01
73150-TR3-A01

usually windshield trim is installed when the glass is installed because the urethane will help hold the trim and glass in place.
