The problem is in Cali you have to buy a "new" car in the state to register it (according to the DMV website)
The Cali smog laws interfere with out of state models and if its brand new it better be bought in the state.....I was going to buy an EVO from washington but it had to have at least 7000 miles in order for it to be considered "used"
Cali dealers have that advantage on their side unfortunately --- if all Cali dealers stick together and wait for people to pay mark up --- the mark up will be tough to get knocked down
I am trying to work deals for people who are serious about buying an Si --- it may take a while but I am willing to put in the work for Honda-tech people.
MSRP is a fair price guys --- GM and Ford have crazy margins --- Honda has very little profit margin so when they estimate MSRP they are setting a realistic price for their product and 20K for an Si is a good deal
