Not easiliy shifting into reverse
Hi Everyone,
2010 Civic LX-S M/T
Was brought in recently as my clutch was squealing, and I was having issues putting it into reverse. Would have to try like 4-5 times to get it in, or even shift into first, then try to put it back in reverse.
They told me it was the master clutch and replaced it. Said it would fix both issues. Fixed the clutch issue, but I'm still having issues getting it into reverse. Clutch fluid and tranny fluid was also replaced at the same time. Any ideas on whats causing this? Is the gear itself wearing out? 2nd gr was replaced about 2 years ago due to issues going in and popping out while driving. Could this be the same thing? Super frustrating!

Re: Not easiliy shifting into reverse
Usually reverse doesn't go in as smoothly cause it doesn't have synchro...
how difficult it? My old EG had an issue with reverse and I would need to put it in neutral release the clutch and then push the clutch in and then it would go into reverse... maybe try that see if that helps.
