Need help identifying an OEM Part
Greetings!
I haven't posted here in a while. Last time I was here I owned an '04 RSX. Very cool Honda-Tech is still up and rolling.
I was wondering if someone could help me identify an OEM part number. I recently had my driver side door repainted (2012 Honda Civic Si Coupe) - and while the body shop was cutting / buffing the finish they managed to really scuff the hell out of the black plastic window trim on the top of the window separating the glass from the pillar.
I grabbed an image off Google and circled the specific piece of "trim" or whatever it is called below:
Circled in Red
While digging around various OEM Honda Part stores, I came across this but don't know for certain it's correct:
Maybe?
Am I right about this? Has anyone had experience replacing this part? Is it a big deal? Also I am specifically looking for driver side as I mentioned.. I am guessing this means "Right" side.. assuming you're standing in front of the car the driver side is the right side. Could be wrong about that too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!
Andrew

Re: Need help identifying an OEM Part
You could take your picture and the part number you found to your local dealer at the parts counter and confirm if this is the same part. The parts guys are usually pretty good at identifying if its the part you are seeking.
Them confirming or denying does not obligate you to order the part through them.
