Need advice on having awesome exhaust sound in 08 Civic LXi 1.8L
Hello, and good morning
I have 2008 Civic LXi 1.8L with K&N typhoon air intake
Is it worth it to put ONLY a muffler?
This one sounded great in YouTube so I'm thinking to order it from Amazon:
[ Magnaflow 14815 ]
Or with this car standard engine isn't worth having a beast sound, and stay with the air intake sound?
My budget is around 200$-300$
Any thoughts?
The sound must be not VERY loud, because it's not allowed in my country, just a nice rumbling growling deep sound

Why not look at getting a used Si exhaust?
It has a deeper tone and isn't very loud... plus it's OEM Honda can't get busted for that!

I literally just posted a nice used 06-11 Civic Si axle-back exhaust in the for sale sticky.
I could probably sell it for $100 shipped. It'll certainly upgrade the restrictive OEM 1.8L muffler.
Edit: Wait, if you are not in the US, then nevermind my above shipped offer But a stock Si exhaust is still a good upgrade for the money.

Need advice for this specific muffler from magnaflow [ 14815 ]
Any thoughts?
In my country there is not much Civic around to get anything used, and if there is, it will not be an Si.
Civic is not a popular car at all, at least in my city.
So, What about the magnaflow, and is it worth getting it?
Sorry, not in US. Could you give me advice, it would be appreciated.

If you are in the UK, look for an FN2 Type R exhaust, it is the same as the Si here in North America.

If not look at the Nvidia Q300 I would rather have that then the Magnaflow.
