It's odd that I didn't see a thread on this yet. I've got rattling coming from all sides of my car, obviously from plastic pieces rubbing, shifting, vibrating and all that. I KNOW that you guys are experiencing the same thing. Has anyone found a good fix for this? It's driving me nuts

How many miles does your car have? Are the roads bad where you are from? They are ways to fix rattles, but you should bring it to the dealership for them to fix them since it's under warranty.

Definantly take it to the dealership ... warranty covers this type of thing.

we've sold many 06 civics and not one has had a problem with rattling interior pieces.

That's odd...because on just about every other honda website people have talked about this problem with the rear deck rattling, the creaking in the dash area, and so on when the car first came out. At that time I didn't have any problems but they've developed little by little. I had the first SI in San Antonio, one of the first batch. Perhaps they pushed themselves at the factory a bit too hard getting these vehicles out. I just didn't want to take it to the dealer and have them tell me it's fixed and then hear it again when I drive home. Especially since I'll have to rent a car in the meantime to drive to work.

I'd figured the other web forums for this car wouldve posted up how they fixed the rattling...but alas I've found nothing. At least I know the car can exist without the rattles as so many people stated that "honda (si's) have always had rattling problems."

Yeah, i've read about the noises.. I guess im one of the lucky few that has a rattle-free interior. Hopefully it'll stay that way

Hm, have almost 1k miles on my SI, no odd rattling or noises from mine. Slight vibration noises on bad roads, but on the highway, smooth as silk. Only thing in mine that irritates me sometimes is the gas pedal vibrates very very slightly, enough to make my foot tingle.
