Default Honda civic 1.8 vtec 2007

Hi there I recently had some heavy rainstorms where I live and drove into a puddle of water that went into the airfilter
er was soaked the car immediatly stopped, i tried to start but the engine turned very difficult, nothing happend, i then brought the car home on a rollback. What should and what should i not do to avoid any complications. Please give me advise.

Hydrolocked motor. Pull your plugs, turn it over by hand to make sure it'll spin, then turn it over with the key to clean out the cylinders of any water. Put in new plugs (might as well since they're out)

Change your oil and hope you are good to go.
