If it was done properly, and maintenance is done regularly, upwards of 250k miles. There's really no way to tell, though. Sensors break, metal rusts, bushings tear. Entropy is a bitch.

Re: Expected longevity of a head gasket repair -2012 Civic w/ 92K miles
I’m a little nervous about it because my mechanic and he is a really good one does everything right he said that he had to take 20 thousands off the head he says that’s a lot and he told me to keep it in the back of my mind that it might need a new motor in the future. Plus the guy I bought it from did not tell me the head was leaking and he tryed to fix it with that leak seal and that stuff has now started to clog my heater core and I was thinking about trading it in and taking a little loss now and not a big one in the future thanks for the info

I'm really surprised it has any issues that required the head to be machined. I'm guessing it overheated but that's not a lot of miles to have issues. Yes, 20 thousandths is a lot but you can compression test to atleast be sure compression is good. If the gasket is leaking in between the coolant and oil jackets then you can pressurize the cooling system to check for a leak there. It should hold. If you want to be proactive you can replace the heater core, the hoses, and the radiator yourself, using a 06-11 service manual. I can't seem to find a '12 manual but they should be fairly similar since they have the same engine. If you do the work yourself you can save the money you're going to lose by selling it. But this hinges on if the engine is holding compression or not. If it's not, then you might want to just take the loss instead of putting money in and the engine going out.
Also, there are jdm engines all over ebay. You can swap one in and you will also have all kinds of spare sensors and parts from your original motor. This is a big plus when you have issues and can swap sensors out to fix it.

I saw elsewhere that Helmsinc replied that Honda stopped producing manuals in 2012.
Now they have a subscription based website for 2012 on up.

So even if you manage to download all 2000 pages and pictures etc, you still have to compile it into a pdf or something.
Here was the post where a user did use the online site:
