Hi guys new here. So here is my weird idea
so i got my hands in this head unit for dirt cheap 35 bucks to be exact lol i dont think is the one with nav. But it is touch screen. btw the car was a 15 civic ex coupe.
so when i saw it at the wrecking yard i had to have it lolSo my idea is what if i can install it in my ek?
i know it sounds retarded lol but hear me out .
A year ago i had the same dumb idea to put a 2014 kia optima head unit in my NA miata. Yea it sounds stupid right?
But i was able to installed, and everything works usb, aux, and mic. And it doesn't look out of place it looks oem.
Now back to this head unit. I search for the wiring diagram for it and i was able to find some of the connectors but i still have al ot more to figure out. I found the pin out for the main connector and i was able to kind of turn it on but i only get a blank screen, i know it could be a signal of some sort to be able to boot up. I know its too much to ask but if anyone has any wiring diagrams in hand to share ill appreciate it?
