My wife has a 2013 civic EX-L (no Navi) 4dr 31k miles automatic. Had to replace the front driver side wheel bearing which baffled me beyond belief that it could go bad so quick. Turns out it was extremely rusted (possibly from the weekly car washes) and her drive to work is through a construction zone that resembles a battlefield. Heavy pot holes.

So it's been about 3 weeks we even took it on a 300 mile road trip no problem. Just today I noticed right before I come to a complete stop I hear a clonk and I can feel a little thump as well. Seems like it makes the noise when it's "down" shifting as I come to a complete stop.

Maintenance has been done all by me, changed tranny fluid at 28k, regular oil changes.

P.S - is the drivetrain still under warranty?

Have that corner's suspension checked for tightness of components and proper driveshaft installation. It could be that the driveshaft. on that corner might not be fully seated into both the hub and the jackshaft

Thanks for the response il check or have it checked. Also, I didn't mention I replaced all brake pads with factory pads. Today I took it out for a spin and still same situation however as I was slowing down from 30mph I put the trans in neutral and just came to a stop and no noise... 😲😲
