Is the clutch grabbing closer to the floor? do you have to push the clutch all the way to the floor to get it in first and it's still hard to push the shifter in gear?

1 check you clutch fluid, 2 if that is full you may be able to adjust it under the dash to get a little more out if it.

But your pressure plate may be on it's way out if it is it will just get worse over time.

Grabbing closer to the floor, sounds like you need it adjusted so it grabs more mid pedal.

If you don't know what you are doing when it comes to adjusting a clutch can mess it up, too tight can cause the throwout bearing to ride the pressure plate all of the time if it does it will only last a few days.

Too loose is what is giving you your problem, if you just had the clutch installed take it back and have them adjust it, I bet they didn't touch the adjustment after they installed the new one, sometimes your OK but in your case it needs to be adjusted.

It shouldn't cost you anything they already made there money on the job don't give them more for something they should have done from the start.

If they won't adjust it for you ask a friend or get somebody who knows how, I would hate to see you wind up paying for another clutch install if you mess it up.

What about the tranny fluid? Was that also changed when you changed the clutch?

The funny part is i went to florida to my uncles for a week and i got it changed at his dealer. i live in Chicago,

& let me get this right. So the way my clutch is grabbing right now is not right ? all close to the floor ? oh and before i changed the clutch, the other one used to grab all the way up. so im really confused

If its barely grabbing on the floor then that means you arent depressing the clutch enough and that is what is giving you a rough time. Its not hard to adjust. 12mm deep socket, i use three 6" extensions. pliers to remove the clip from the pin on the pedal. 12mm wrench to loosen the nut on the CMC rod. Then just push the CMC back and move the bracket counter clock wise. I would just start with doing one full rotations until its at its desired point. Then put everything back and go for a ride.

As someone else ask. How long since your last fluid change. This might also help with smoother shifts. It might not help but i am changing mine out every 2 oil changes. Its only $20-$25 (Amsoil) for a peace of mind IMO.

Like said above it's not a hard job if you know what you are doing, but you do have to be careful you don't tighten it up too much.

Take it to any dealer or someone you trust your problem is not the trans just the adjustment, fluid maintenance is a good idea on these transmissions also, fluid is cheap transmissions and engines are expensive is the rule I go by.
