2011 Civic electrical problems and buzzing sound
Hello everyone,
New here and hoping to get some advice. Dealer has been less than helpful. I have a 2011 Civic that has been giving electrical issues. First the battery wouldn't hold a charge, or so it seemed. Then my alternator was testing bad. First I replaced the battery and then the alternator as I was told both needed to be replaced. There is also a buzz when the lights are off. When you turn the lights on, the buzz goes away.
I've checked for a parasitic draw and bad fuses but things seem ok. Dealer also said things look good there.
What could be causing the buzz only when the lights are off? I also replaced the ground that goes from chassis to the engine, located near the battery. My suspicion is that there is a ground issue but I haven't been able to locate it. Anyone have any idea what this could be?
