2014 Civic - Ball Joints
When do the Ball Joints typicall wear out on the HOnda Civic? Normal Higway driving and metro. Have you ever heard of adding grease into the rubber housing with a hyperdermic needle full of high quality grease? Do this around the 75,000 mile point on adding grease. What about Moog ball joint/tie rod replacement items? WHich do you replace first upper or lower joint if you cannot do both at the same time?
When do you change antifreeze? 75,000? Xerex for imports is that a good brand?

Re: 2014 Civic - Ball Joints
Genuine Honda ball joints can easily last 200K or more with normal driving.
Don't add grease. Leave it alone.
Moog is mostly junk when placed on a Honda. I pretty much always recommend using chassis parts from a Honda dealer. OEM is better than aftermarket.
Use Genuine Honda coolant. Change it at 105K miles per the manual. I'd replace the water pump and thermostat while you're doing it. Buy 2-3 jugs of premixed Honda Coolant. Drain out the old. Pour in the new. Bleed it. Go on with your life.
Shop at discount Honda parts sites like bernardiparts or the thousands of other websites for Honda dealers.
If you do buy concentrated coolant..use distilled water. Never add tap or drinking water to coolant. Also don't use a hose to flush the system.
