I have a 2012 Honda Civic 1.8L with a automatic transmission. When you baby the gas pedal it shutters in between gears. If you push on the gas hard it shifts fine. Also I notice if you leave it in D3 around town it shifts fine but if you put it back in drive it starts to shutter again. I have just changed the transmission filter and fluid. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Could be air in the transmission fluid passages or maybe a buildup of small contaminant particles in a valve or something. Go for a good long drive and run it through the gears so the transmission works up a good hard cycle, then ease it back and see if things change.
