Default 2009 Honda Civic 1.8L loses heat after awhile.

Hey guys. i was hoping that you guys could help me figure out what is wrong with my car. i bought it in the fall and everything was good on it. it became winter and after awhile i realized that the heat was fading away. i checked the antifreeze and it was pretty low, so i did a flush on it and the old antifreeze was black and smelled like gas. my dad and i determined that the head gasket is gone. but i do not have the funds at this moment to fix it so i kept driving it. Now it has developed this issue of it would only blow heat out 1 vent and ice cold out the others. i flushed the heater core didn't fix it. changed the thermostat did help. does anyone have an idea to help me figure it out?? i had to add coolant about once every week. and it shows no other signs. No leak, no antifreeze in the oil, none on spark plugs. Plz help!

compression test the engine to see if the head gasket is sealing properly, it's possible the exhaust gases entering the cooling system is simply corroding and damaging components

Did u flush properly? Supposed to flush with heater on high so the whole system is cleaned. Brown milk shake is a blown head gasket. The oil cap will be milky. Easy to spot and is universal (every make/model) my coolant was caramel orange not green. Used prestone rad flush and followed deep clean directions meaning i left it in a few days. Dont do this in the winter tho as pure waterr in ur egnine will freeze and form a block of ice. Heater works fine
