09 honda civic si goes into gears but wont move.
Okay I can put my car into all the gears but when giving it gas it wont move. The rpm rev up but haven't check to see if the Speedo move to or not. Could it be the axles or a bad clutch? It a 2009 honda civic si with 79,xxx mileage. Any help is appreciated.

It could be a variety of things...
Is there any pressure when you engage the clutch and try to find the friction point?

Can you stall your car? Just put it into a gear and let out the clutch and see if you can stall, if you can't your clutch is out.

Get it checked out before assuming you need a new clutch... like i said it could be a variety of things related to the clutch.

If it goes into every gear while motor is running, it is the clutch. Pure and simple. Mine went out on my '06 Si, at about that same mileage. I'm surprised you didn't notice issues before it got this bad, like slippage on the highway.

This is a transmission problem man. I just suffered threw this same problem and my car is under warranty and honda doesn't wanna fix it. Get it fixed before your whole tranny goes down..

if you let out the clutch and the engine doesnt stall your clutch is done. if you are in an open space rev the hell out the engine pumping the clutch. it might crawl a bit. if your axle broke you would hear it. give everything a look but its most likely your clutch
