Re: ***OFFICIAL Hondata FlashPro Thread***
Ross I can vouch that everything works perfectly fine!
If you do get flashpro I will say you don't use Hondata's stock tune although it's not a bad starting point the stock tune from flashprotuning.com is way better.
No more rev hang... instant pedal feel, vtec is dropped meaning more power to play with. It really gives the car that extra punch.
Love it!

Re: ***OFFICIAL Hondata FlashPro Thread***
its a tune for a stock motor.
VTEC is drop to 4350 from 5800. Rev limit is bumped up a little higher also to 8600.
Order changes have been made for AF ratios.

This will probably be the first mod I get for my car. It's a 09 Si Sedan. I really like how the car drives overall but I wouldn't mind engaging v-tech at a lower rpm and getting rid of some rev hang between shifts.
Should be attainable with Flash Pro ya?

For all you that are running a catless header or o2 sensor, are you getting a check engine code after or is FP disabling that? Is it affecting your emissions?
I wouldn't mind the power gains from a header, but my car is a daily first and foremost, and a car to play with after, so if its gonna make it an issue later, I rather not.

Re: ***OFFICIAL Hondata FlashPro Thread***
Hondata just released an app for ios and android to connect to you Flashpro via Bluetooth. This will be available for any new 2014 models as well as some of Flashpro sold after July 2013 (not all have it)
Hondata came out to say they are working on a package for users who purchased it before that date to have the bluetooth installed.
I hope it won't cost an arm and a leg!

I picked up a Flashpro to go along with my new Hybrid Racing intake. I installed it all about a month ago and am currently running the "Stock Tuned" map from flashprotuning. I can't believe how much it really wakes the engine up!

It is night and day different... wait till you get a proper tune for it and you'll notice it even better!
If you are using the stock tune from Hondata it's ok but nothing great. I would like at flashprotuning.com and get the mucter stock tune until you can get it properly tune by a tuner. I would recommend going for a proper tune as those tunes are race tunes and they do have negative affects on your car such as your gas thank shrinking and when you open the gas tank to fill up it will sound like a pepsi can opening which isn't good.
You'll want to get a hybrid tune as they are called. All the good etuners such at VitViper and Woot692 have everything to get you going and more. You will notice a huge difference just getting tuned even if you just have an intake.

Mucter's Stock Tune from flashproracing.com is the one I'm using actually! It's great! And yes, I do still need a proper tune, but I'm waiting until I get a set of headers before I bother.

Re: ***OFFICIAL Hondata FlashPro Thread***
I'm happy to say my '07 Coupe Si is getting tuned over the next 30 days.
Got my first calibration yesterday and did crap loads of data logging the last two days and sent it to BV1 (Steve).
I suspect I will see the next revision calibration in a couple of days.
It's nice to know that after 355,000 kilometers the car is not just running on a Hondata Flashpro basemap like it seemed to be it's whole life.
Can't deny, I'm excited to see what the next 30 days brings.

Re: ***OFFICIAL Hondata FlashPro Thread***
Also, I chose the performance not the full race level tune. I wanted some safety margin at the cost of a little power instead of all out full power right to the edge tune.
It would be interesting to see where it lands. I was told the base map that was in the car pulled 205 WHP and it's only the Injen CIA, and full Skunk2 70mm exhaust and header with cat delete.
If I get spare cash next summer and can get her up on a dyno for a pull I'll share the results.
We're almost done and the car drives really smooth now. Definitely understand what a good tune means to a car. All I have to say is WoW!
