Re: V6?

Hasn't been done before from what I've seen.

If you have the money, go for it.

It's gonna be alot of custom mounting + fabbing though.

If he had the money, why would he be driving a Civic.

well some people just like civics.

remember that custom fabbing means more parts breaking.

With enough fabrication, yes.

Depends on if you can do your own work or not. If not, it'll be more trouble than it's worth. (more money, too)

Not that I've seen. H, B, and K swaps are all that I've seen. Never a J-swap in a 7th gen Civic.

Also gonna have to modify or find a custom hood to fit over that bad boy

No he wouldn't. There are mount kits that will allow the J-series to sit under an 6th generation Civic or even an 5th generation Civic hood, and the 7th generation has more clearance than either.

I just realized that also about our civics having much more room than the older gen civics.

Matt you should be the first to attempt and finish putting a J series in these em2

enough money and enough time you could put a air cooled vw engine in the trunk dude, just depends on how much time and money you want to put into your car, oh, and kiss resale value goodbye

To be honest, and if Matt doesn't mind me speaking for him, he has bigger and better plans in store for his car. ;)

I'm not sure if I know all that much. As for the v6, I'd have to get a motec m600 in order to suit my needs from the engine.

The man's got a point. Big things are most certainly coming for the EM2. After my vacation, I may be starting teardown of her.

Well, you're going to have to wait a while for pictures... especially since I don't need anyone's approval to say that what I'm doing is actually being done. ;)
