Icon4 Shopping for wheels and tires. HELP

Ok so I planned on getting some 16x8s with 0 offset for my 2001 Honda civic lx sedan.. now I have no idea what tires are recommended/will fit. I'm pretty lost and not very smart when it comes to wheels and tires as you probably know just from what I said. any pointers in the right direction would be extremely awesome. OR if any of you recommend something different altogether. I just want my car to look good. anythings better than the stock 14s.

16x8 +0 won't fit without extensive modification, or unsafe suspension/tire settings. 16x8 +38 can fit with minor adjustments and properly sized tires.

what do you think would fit without modifications or tweaks? if it comes down to that then its not a big deal but if there is anything else that would fit better and easier then that would be my go to choice.

I used 195-65-15" on Acura lookalike rims off E-Bay on my 2003 HX coupe. No modifications at all. I had the make the center "H" out of some I found there too. Kumho Solis HM tires wear like iron with an 800 tread ware rating.

A 16x7" wheel with an offset somewhere between +38 and +45mm fits without modification... choose tires in the P205/50R16 size and you will keep your speedometer and odometer running like stock.

16x7 +35 with 205/50/16 or 215/50/16 would fit perfectly fine, even when lowered.

You guys are truly great and i appreciate the feedback! Once i get everything set up ill make sure to post a pic. BTW i also appreciate the pics. Seeing it is always a plus. Also my car is about 2 to 3 inches lowered so hopefully i can work with that.

Mr. Jimmy Six i like the way your wheels are btw. I'll probably go with something like that.

Gold... Thanks, they were first on my wife's 2000 EX Coupe and she received many compliments. When she sold it for a 2015 coupe and put American Torque Thrusts on it and my HX needed tires I swapped them. 15" wheels don't give the "conastoga wheel/fork truck tire rubbler band" look and ride nice. Costs are reasonable.
